A Lantana physician is accused of drug trafficking and operating an unlicensed pain clinic.
Investigators from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said Dr. Kristen Kerr overwrote prescriptions for painkillers from her cash-only medical practice that she ran from her home. An investigation started after pharmacists became suspicious of the prescriptions and alerted the authorities. Kerr denies any wrongdoing in the matter.
Kerr is currently being held without bail at the Palm Beach County Jail.
